Phil & Mike's Excellent adventure continues from South Bend Wa.  with a day trip to Gerbings heated gear manufactuer open house.  Phil purchased a new heated liner.  After a great weekend in South Bend with Lynn Ferrones family Phil and I left for a trip around the Olympic Peninsula.  We spent the night in Port Townsend and cought a ferry at 6:30am for Whidbey Island.  From there we went to Anacortes and caught a ferry to Friday Harbor in the San Juan islands.  A great day, beautiful weather for our ride from Friday Harbor to Roche Harbor where we tried to figure out which yacht we would be willing to trade our Harley's in on.  Then it was back to Friday's Harbor and a rooftop bar overlooking the harbor for Martini's.  Dinner was at a local place recommended by several locals.  The Downriggers restaurant for a fantastic dinner.  Now it is laundry time.  Can't always have a great time all day long.  Tomorrow it is back on the ferry and off to Winthrop Washington for  a ride over the cascade loop.  This is what retirement is all about.  How fortunate we are.  Stay tuned.
